The Reverend Mary Lou
McKenney came to All
Saints' in September 2002.
Mary Lou is almost a
local...she was born and
raised in nearby Morgan
Hill. She lived in Morgan
Hill until 1972, when she
moved to Santa Cruz county.
After living in La Selva
Beach, she and her husband
John, who is a geologist,
lived in a wide variety of
mining locations in
California, Nevada, and
Arizona. Before coming
home to California again,
they lived for eight years in
Honduras. Both Mary Lou
and John speak fluent
Spanish, which is put to
good use talking to our
friends from Mission
Cristo Rey
Mary Lou graduated from Vancouver School
of Theology in Vancouver, British
Columbia, Canada with a Master of
Divinity. She has served at St. Helen's
Anglican Church in Vancouver, St. Mary's
Episcopal Mission in Tegucigalpa,
Honduras, as well as forming a congregation
at El Mochito, Santa Barbara, Honduras.
She has completed continuing education
courses in conflict resolution from the Alban
Institute; Protecting God's Children from
the Kyros Ministry; church growth courses
from the national church and All Saint's
Beverly Hills; and the clergy course on the
Anglican Church and Contemporary
Culture at St. George's College, Windsor
Castle, England. She will attend a course
given by St. George's College, Jerusalem, on
